CyberAuto was founded and continues to be operated by Chris Myer, who was then an up-and-coming electrical engineer who decided he would leave the Dilbert scene and make his fortune in the promising world of online commerce. Fortunately for Chris, he was also employed as an officer in the Florida National Guard (and now US Army Reserve.) So, electrical engineering probably was not the career to leave for eCommerce, but fortunately defending the nation has been a growth market for the past decade-plus, affording him ample opportunity to feed the family with training exercises and year-long deployments.
